Our Vision

The Nepal Social Service Fund supports health care, education, agricultural training, and income generating opportunities that have empowered individuals and families and transformed communities.

We believe that for change to be long lasting, effective, and worthwhile, it must be in accordance with the wishes of the people themselves and driven by their initiative, cooperation, and commitment.

We recognize that to thrive, people must have access to health care, education, and a way to make a living to support themselves and their families.

We feel the most important thing the NSSF has done to empower community has been the introduction of literacy classes for women and girls. Education not only brings knowledge, it brings the possibility of self awareness, and the courage to change.
